Greetings Pride Committee,

 

The North Country Pride committee originally began through a joint effort of a few people helping to support Zibii’s Bar. I utilized my personal funds to start Zibii’s Bar, in an effort to enhance and support unity of our community. I created a place of social gathering, safe and secure from HATE displayed by discriminating people. This was my gift to the Plattsburgh community. I have always stressed the importance of our community working together, and not against one another. Personal agendas employed to form subversive groups of people, on a mission to segregate our community any further, bring mockery to the mission of the North Country Pride Committee. I have always maintained that everyone in our community should work together, all personal problems put aside. The North Country Pride Committee should also SUPPORT entities, who support them. The recent actions of the North Country Pride Committee are a clear effort to penalize Zibii’s Bar, for adhering to the mission statement of the North Country Pride Committee. Zibii’s Bar will ALWAYS welcome our community members, and their friends, so long as a peaceful atmosphere can be enjoyed by all, and Zibii’s Bar will not be swayed by petty tactics.

 

I, Shawn Garrow, and Gabriel Banegas wish to recind our memberships in this committee.

 

If your committee would like to hold your July 4^th benefit at the Naked Turtle, there will be no hard feelings.
